Ariane is a ho bag

So I just remembered about that virtually date Ariane game.  After 30 minutes of trying to date her and on about the zillionth try I got her shitfaced and she passed out but I also got her completely naked...and tucked her into bed and then got into bed with her.  The next morning she kicked me out in her see through robe.  I got a 7 out of 10 not bad.  Thanks Adnama for this wonderful game. haha.

Shoot me up

If you need a shot I can give you one!!!!  I successfully gave two shots today...one ID that's like getting a TB test done.  Next was a SubQ which was just an insulin shot.  It was so fun!!  Next week we have to give the IM ones which are intra muscular so in the muscle and they are going to be in the butt!  Today was a fun day to be in the nursing program!  I just thought I'd share this important milestone with you : )

Tops

I always think it's interesting to know what's going on in people's lives at the moment.  Like what they're listening to, tv they're watching, food they're eating, drinks they're drinking, issues that have come up...just random stuff that's new in their lives and somewhat important to them or stressing...So, I'm gonna give you a random list of new discoveries/topics that for the time being are occupying my life that will probably be boring next month...Anyway....Top 10

1. Music of the week
Leona Lewis "Bleeding Love"
Colbie Callait "Realize"
Ferras "Hollywood's Not America"
Webbie "Independent" (It took me 3 times to hear the song before I figured out that's what he was spelling and then another 2 times to actually spell 'independent')

2.  I drink coffee on Wednesday and Friday Mornings
Because I have 8'0clock class those mornings for 3 hours I feel that it's necessary...I tried to go without it the first couple of weeks but I need an extra kick.

3. I have drank more alcohol this semester(consecutive weekends since term started!) than last semester when I had no class on friday and the slackest schedule ever.  It's much easier to drink after a stressful week and every week is a stressful week so every weekend I find myself with drinks in my hands.  Last night I had 3 pulls of Dr. McGillicutty's Peppermint stuff...it went down way too easy along with the 2 beers, 4 bacardi razz shooters, and a whiskey and coke...I'm not even gonna tell the time frame in which this was all accomplished.

4.  Therapeutic communication.  After being tested on it last week it's all I use.  Basically if you ever come to me with a complaint or issue that's bothering you I'm going to talk to you in a "therapeutic manner" which will allow you to open up and tell me about it....Like you say "man I have a ton of homework and I can't keep up."  I will say..."How does that make you feel?"  or "What can you tell me about that"  shit like that...it's become a joke around here...any little complaint gets a therapeutic response.

5.  The "moon bounce."  this is probably the most awesome piece of workout equipment ever.  It's really called an AMT (adaptive motion trainer)  It's sort of like an eliptical but you can do every thing from stair stepping to "skiing"  It's intense because you actually have to make the pedal things move.  I call it a moon bounce because it kinda feels like one...

6.  I discovered Tropicana's strawberry-banana-orange juice.  It's probably been around for awhile but I just bought some and it is delicious.

7.  The list of reasons to never have children.  It's pretty self-explanatory but my Roomies and I come up with reasons of why a woman should never have kids or at least not have them until she can truly appreciate having a kid even though they may very well possess all the qualities on the list.  The list ranges from things like the obvious "giving birth to a child will hurt like a bitch" to "the child might be ugly."

8.  My sock compulsion.  I recently bought new socks...a 3 pack.  Well, now that I have these 3 pair of bright white socks I feel compelled to go out and replace my entire sock collection so they are all equally new.  I don't like having socks in different stages of wear.

9.  SPRING BREAK!  I am going to Florida with Danelle in 3 weeks!  I'm gonna lay around on the beach all day sippin what else but Pina coladas and reading the entire Gossip Girl series!

9.5.  I let slip that I am occasionaly called T-bag by my good friend back home and now E has picked it up as well...it's sort of comical in that when she calls me that we are most often in public surrounded by people who then turn their heads to figure out who on earth so innocently and nonchalantly says "come on T-bag, let's go."

10.  My summer dilemma.  I don't know what I am going to do for a job this summer.  I want to stay in Mankato.  BUT I can A. make more money at home by life guarding or working at the hospital and B. gain experience by working at the hospital again.  Mankato means I would have to find a new job if not a couple new ones.  I am torn because I really want to make money, but I kind of want to take the summer off from hospital type work because honestly this is my last "free summer."  I don't know what to do!

Well that's been the top ten in my life this last week...hope you enjoyed it!

James McAvoy

I absolutely love love love James McAvoy.  I liked him ever since I saw him in Wimbledon...now I know movie critics around the world probably snubbed that movie but I enjoy it very much.  It combines to things I love a lot...romantic comedy and wimbledon.  James' part is small but he makes you notice him!  He was great in Atonement.  I need to see the Last King of Scottland and Narnia.  I just watched Becoming Jane and again he was so good.  I'm not sure how I feel about that movie though.  It's sort of a love story in reverse.  Poor Jane.  BUT had she married we would probably never know Mr. Darcy or Elizabeth Bennett.  I highly recommend the film if you are single on valentine's day if you've ever fallen in love but knew you could never be with that person.  It was good but I'm a half glass full kinda person that thinks all movies with romance should end happy and together.  Yeah yeah yeah I hear you all already.  Anyway this post is about James McAvoy whom I will forever be a devout follower.  I can't wait for Penelope!

Uhg.

I am study challenged.  I just can't motivate myself.  Ok that's not true I can when the material is at least studyable(my new word).  I've had these kind of classes before.  There is just a ton of material to read through.  But it's not concrete things that you can make flashcards for or concepts that flow and you remember the how and why's.  This is the dumb stuff that no matter how many times you read through it it never seems to stick and every time you go back to re-read, it looks completely foreign.  It's the kind of material that you hope comes to you when you see the question because it is so iffy and kinda common sense stuff.  I feel completely unprepared for tomorrows test and I'm gonna basically wing it and rely on my memory/common sense skills.  I can not get through these 20 pages of notes without my mind wandering off to far away and sometimes inappropriate places...haha just kidding! but my mind does wander away.  In the last 2 hours I've made it through my notes once...hence me being challenged.  I wish I could just focus my mind but I think I have too much apathy at this point.  It's the first test, I'll just see how it goes and then I'll know how to prepare myself for the next one.  This is so the opposite of how the pharmacology test went...Next week I have to test out by giving three different shots!  The prospect of me with a needle in my hand and having to poke my friend is kinda freaking me out.  It never ends.

Outta control

Ahh the weekend.  It was grand.  I discovered a drink that I've been searching/waiting for.  Gin and Fresca.  Can't even taste the gin one little bit.  It goes down like fresca and for those of you who know me I don't really need much.  Well I had enough and last night was interesting to say the least....I won't go into details here but you can ask me about if we meet someday.

In other news I survived my first pharmacology test on Friday with a high B.  I hate when people hype up tests and make them sound like they are impossible.  It's annoying when they say it was the hardest test they've ever taken.  After almost three years of college I've finally learned to just tune everyone out and form my own opinions.  I've finally figured out that most often tests are only hard if you don't know the information.  I don't think I've ever taken a test that was hard or unfair.  All the information is stuff that was taught to us.  They said this first semester of nursing was the hardest and blah blah blah.  I'm not saying it isn't hard by any means but just like anything before this it's all a matter of organization.  Yeah the first week I was completely overwhelmed but now that the first tests are here I'm starting to get into my groove.  It certainly is a lot of work but I feel ok about it.

A Knight's Tale was on television today.  I still can't believe about Heath Ledger.  I'm not gonna say I was his biggest fan but I enjoyed his work.  In a way this kinda felt like "princess diana" of our generation.  For some reason this one really hit home.

Ok, well I can barely keep my eyes open here...
